Jo Lewis of Cogent Research

The founder of Cogent Research is Jo Lewis, After graduating from Staffordshire University with a Joint Honours Degree in Geography & Computing, Jo began her market research career with Business and Market Research Ltd - now Harris Interactive in Stockport. Promotion to Senior Exec lead to a client-side move to Advanstar Communications before a further promotion to a Marketing Analyst position with the Riverside Housing Group – the UK’s fourth largest provider of social housing and regeneration agency.
A desire to work for herself lead to Jo forming Cogent Research in the spring of 2004.
Away from work Jo enjoys holidays, horse riding, swimming and generally keeping fit other loves include snowboarding and chocolate.
Jo is an associate member of the Market Research Society.

Justin Lewis of Cogent Research

Working alongside Jo is Justin Lewis, after studying Ceramic Science & Engineering at Staffordshire University Justin began a career that has mainly involved financial services and insurance. Both roles requiring years of tactfully interviewing clients either to give the best financial advice or spot the fraudulent insurance claims!
Having always enjoyed writing this lead to justin firstly assisting Jo with technical report writing on a part time basis before eventually joining Cogent Research full time.
Outside work Justin enjoys mountain biking, cycling and snowboarding,
